Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz endeavors to make the websites of the domain “uni-mainz.de” accessible. The legal basis for this is the State Law on Equality, Inclusion and Participation of People with Disabilities (Landesinklusionsgesetz, InklG RP) and the Act on Equal Opportunities of Persons with Disabilities of Rhineland-Palatinate (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung Rheinland-Pfalz, BITV RP).

The websites of the domain “uni-mainz.de” are currently designed to be accessible from a technical point of view. In the course of the university-wide website relaunch, an adaptation of the framework layout and barrier-free access is planned.
